DESCRIPTION:This year\, the Maine Democratic Party is having its biennial caucuses along county lines. The Hancock County Democratic Party 2026 Caucus will be held Saturday\, Feb. 28th starting at 10:00am at the UU Church of Ellsworth. Sign up here to attend.  \nWho can attend? \nAll registered Democrats are welcome to participate in the caucus\, including 17-year-olds who will be 18 by Election Day\, November 3\, 2026. Current Unenrolled voters who wish to register as Dems may do so here at the caucus. \nWhat will we do? \nImportant business will include: \n\nElecting delegates to the Democratic State Convention.\nSigning petitions for candidates running for office.\nPlanning what needs to be done to support candidates on every level and detailing those roles.\nDiscussing national and local issues.\n\nWhat if it snows?\nSnow date will be March 7 at the same time and location.
