SUMMARY:Tee Shirt Expression Jam Session at Atlantic Art Glass Studio
DESCRIPTION:Got something to say? Are you frustrated with the status of democracy? Join us at our Tee-shirt Expression Jam Session Nov 1\, 3:00-5:30 at Atlantic Art Glass Studio: 25 Pine St\, in Ellsworth. Stay for music at Fogtown starting at 5:30. \nThe event is offered in a do-it-yourself spirit\, but with some assistance and supplies. Bring your ideas and your own cloth patch or clothing to print or select from donations. Post-cards and poster materials are also available for stenciling and stamping. Volunteer artists will be on hand to assist you in designing and printing your views on a given topic\, for example: democracy\, due-process\, voting rights\, civil rights\, freedom of speech. Art supplies including stencils\, brushes\, roller\, and inks will be available\, along with donated tee-shirts and patches in various sizes. \nThe organizers of this all-age event are interested in giving voice to younger citizens and forging an ongoing intergenerational community\, connecting arts with the needs of the moment. Join us as we brainstorm\, socialize and have fun visualizing and expressing our views at a time when our voices matter more than ever. \nSponsors include: Artsworth and Fogtown Brewing. No experience needed! Artist volunteers are welcome to join! To donate a blank tee-shirt or sweatshirt for the event\, bring it to Fogtown or Atlantic Art Glass Studio during open hours. \nVisit: artsworth.org and fogtownbrewing.com/events
