He will recap the successful “No on Question 1” Campaign and he will discuss translating that into more successes in 2026. \n\n\n\nHannah Pingree\, who has served as Maine’s Speaker of the House and directed the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future\, will talk about her run for governor. \nDavid Costello\, who has more than 30 years of senior-level state\, local\, and federal government experience\, will talk about his bid for US Senate. \n\nRegister for Zoom. DESCRIPTION:This year\, the Maine Democratic Party is having its biennial caucuses along county lines. The Hancock County Democratic Party 2026 Caucus will be held Saturday\, Feb. 28th starting at 10:00am at the UU Church of Ellsworth. Sign up here to attend.  \nWho can attend? \nAll registered Democrats are welcome to participate in the caucus\, including 17-year-olds who will be 18 by Election Day\, November 3\, 2026. Current Unenrolled voters who wish to register as Dems may do so here at the caucus. \nWhat will we do? \nImportant business will include: \n\nElecting delegates to the Democratic State Convention.\nSigning petitions for candidates running for office.\nPlanning what needs to be done to support candidates on every level and detailing those roles.\nDiscussing national and local issues.\n\nWhat if it snows?\nSnow date will be March 7 at the same time and location.
