This fall HCDC will be canvassing in our communities to help get out the vote in November. By canvassing, we can engage voters and help them realize their vote does make a difference. In this training session, you will learn how to communicate effectively and have a chance to try it out. Local leaders will demonstrate. Learning how to actively listen can be a powerful way to make a difference with disengaged voters or people of differing views and it can be veruy rewarding. Recently, a trained HCDC member pulled this off with a strong Trump supporter. At the end, they hugged each other.
