“Signs for our Times” – Let’s party making art to win the election!
All ages are invited to create street signs, bumper stickers, political buttons, hats, T-shirts, and other merch to influence the election!
We’ll start with an open discussion about effective messages and formats and places for display, brain storm ideas, and then make mockups of the street signs, bumper stickers, hats, etc.
Then we will vote on mockups to award prizes! Prize winners will be printed professionally!
Art materials will be supplied but feel free to bring your own if you like – as well as any kind of computer or pad that might be useful for making designs or putting them into digital form to submit to professional printers.
*** Signs and merch will be ordered immediately after the party. On Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 am we will have a short follow up party at the YWCA to share them with anyone who wants to help with their distribution.
