Community Outreach Training

Studies show that community canvassing works at increasing voter participation and also more wins for candidates we support. You can do community canvassing on your time schedule and you’ll see it makes a Real Difference. About 20% of eligible voters did not vote in 2024 and if we cut that in half in 2026 it will make a wave of a difference. Again, it doesn’t take much time but is highly effective and rewarding.

Learn how to communicate effectively and have a chance to try it out. Local leaders will demonstrate. Learning how to actively listen can be a powerful way to make a difference with disengaged voters or people of differing views. Recently, a trained HCDC member pulled this off with a strong Trump supporter. At the end, they hugged each other.
