HCDC July Meeting: Candidates Dakota Dupuis and Brian Thomas

July 16 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
July 2026 meeting

Thursday, July 16, 2026 @ 7:00pm
Unitarian Universalist Church and via Zoom

Our July meeting will be held on Thursday the 16th at 7:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Ellsworth and via Zoom.

In light of recent events, we will dedicate time at this meeting to discuss the Maine Democratic Party’s plans to identify a new candidate to run against Susan Collins for the Senate seat in November…and how you can get involved.

We will then introduce our scheduled guest speakers, Democratic candidates Lt. Dakota Dupuis of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, as well as Lamoine’s own Brian Thomas, Esq. Dakota Dupuis is running for Hancock County Sheriff, and Brian Thomas earned a place on the ballot for Judge of Probate through a successful write-in campaign.

Both candidates will discuss how the legal and criminal justice systems function and share their goals and priorities should they be elected.

Register for Zoom.

Pre-registration required for Zoom attendance by noon the day before the meeting. You will receive a unique link you will need to use to join the meeting.
