Save Our Voting Rights

A public forum on protecting Maine’s absentee voting rights will be held on September 7, 3:00-4:00 PM at Blue Hill Public Library’s Howard Room. The event features two speakers: Ann Luther from the League of Women Voters discussing nationwide voter suppression, and Beth Allen of Save Maine Absentee Voting explaining opposition to Question 1 on the November 4 ballot. The forum focuses on defending absentee voting, particularly for the 40% of Maine voters and 60% of seniors who rely on this voting method.
