HCDC Christmas Party

At least 200 people attended to meet and greet and hear from Shenna Bellows, who shared with us her story and what she plans to do as Governor of the State of Maine. She was joined by special guests Dr. Nirav Shah, Jordan Wood, Matt Dunlap, Jason Cherry, and the Vice Chair of the Maine Democratic Party, Imke Schessler, as well as Nina Milliken and many others. We all enjoyed mocktails, wonderful appetizers, and socializing with fellow Hancock County Democrats while bidding against each other at our silent auction.

We couldn’t have had such a successful party without generous donations of appetizers from Mother‘s Kitchen in Town Hill, Cas Ruell from Cas Ole cateringConscious Cafe, and Pat Pcolar.

Gray Cox graciously provided inspiring and beautiful music for the event.

I would like to personally thank those candidates and other friends who donated personal items for the auction. We raised $2,200.00 in donations from the door and silent auction to more than cover our expenses. Money raised we will use this year for whatever it takes to get Democrats in the governor’s mansion, Congress, and the Senate.

The Hancock County Democrats are planning to hold some really fun celebratory events this coming year, so be sure and to follow our event calendar — you won’t want to miss out.

This party was a lot of fun planning, and we are very welcome to have anybody who would like to be on the events and planning committee this year.
