Interested in becoming a voting member of HCDC?
Official membership with the Hancock County Democratic Committee offers specific rights and privileges at the County level. By being a member, you will be able to:
- Vote in special elections
- Vote on resolutions
- Vote on officers and bylaws
- Help recruit local candidates for municipal, county, and state office
- Shape the strategic direction of HCDC by sitting on, or leading, a subcommittee
- Receive invitations to special members-only appearances
- Represent your community with an official voice at the County level.
As part of the HCDC community you will be invited to monthly meetings where you may hear from your elected representatives, party officials, and influential experts, and participate in workshops and debates on local and regional issues.
The only eligibility requirement to become a member of the HCDC is that you are registered to vote as a Democrat in Hancock County, attend at least two consecutive meetings, and submit a request to the Chair for approval.
