While the current U.S. administration is systematically disrupting and dismantling the Federal government, we must redouble our efforts at the local level to ensure our communities and our Great State of Maine continue to fight for us and the values we believe in. What We Do

We are a 100% volunteer organization. We are grassroots-focused and grassroots-funded, working to empower local leaders, town committees, and candidates for office from school boards and State Reps all the way up to Washington.

We do not receive large contributions from billionaire donors or corporations, and our communications are not filled with constant requests for donations. But we do depend on our members and friends for financial support as well as for support through volunteering.

One hundred percent of your contribution helps us:

• Elect candidates who care passionately about the issues affecting the hard-working people of Hancock County.
• Defeat measures that take away the rights of our people, like the dangerous Republican-backed voter suppression referendum that is on Maine’s ballot this fall.
• Support the passage of legislation that will make life better for the good people of Hancock County and beyond.
