Hancock County Dems Caucus 2026
This year, the Maine Democratic Party is having its biennial caucuses along county lines. The Hancock County Democratic Party 2026 Caucus will be held Saturday, Feb. 28th starting at 10:00am at the UU Church of Ellsworth. Sign up here to attend.
Who can attend?
All registered Democrats are welcome to participate in the caucus, including 17-year-olds who will be 18 by Election Day, November 3, 2026. Current Unenrolled voters who wish to register as Dems may do so here at the caucus.
What will we do?
Important business will include:
- Electing delegates to the Democratic State Convention.
- Signing petitions for candidates running for office.
- Planning what needs to be done to support candidates on every level and detailing those roles.
- Discussing national and local issues.
What if it snows?
Snow date will be March 7 at the same time and location. If the caucus is delayed because of weather, it will be announced on the Hancock County Dems Facebook page.
