Or maybe you’re a persuasive people person? Super! But even if you prefer to work behind the scenes, you can be a powerful Democrat in your community.
If you are committed to making a difference, there are many ways to get involved.
Run for Local Office!
It’s easier than you might think to get involved by joining your local school board, select board, or town planning board. We are looking to help good people willing to lead from the grassroots up. And Maine Dems has a stellar Run Local team and training materials to help you every step of the way.
And if you’re well-connected in your community, or know of people who would make great leaders? Help search your town for potential candidates. Ask us how we can help.

Communications

Events
HCDC organizes or participates in many events, from parades and festivals to House Parties and receptions. And we usually have a booth at the Blue Hill Fair. We can always use help both in the planning stages and at the events.
