The Hancock County Democratic Party 2026 Caucus will be held Saturday, Feb. 28th starting at 10:00am at the UU Church of Ellsworth. Sign up here to attend.
Who can attend?
All registered Democrats are welcome to participate in the caucus, including 17-year-olds who will be 18 by Election Day, November 3, 2026. Anyone not registered as a voter or who votes as “unenrolled” may register as a Democrat at their town office up until the Friday before the caucus.
What will we do?
Important business will include:
- Electing delegates to the Democratic State Convention.
- Signing petitions for candidates running for office.
- Planning what needs to be done to support candidates on every level and detailing those roles.
- Discussing national and local issues.
What if it snows?
Snow date will be March 7 at the same time and location. If the caucus is delayed because of weather, it will be announced on the Hancock County Dems Facebook page.
